Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Geneve Lions and 5th ranked Monthey had identical 11-6 record. This time Geneve Lions used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Monthey 79-64. Geneve Lions made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Geneve Lions outrebounded Monthey 41-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Congolese forward Max Kouguere (198-87) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Josh Almanson (205-82, college: Bowling Green) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Geneve Lions players scored in double figures.
