Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Skopje: Fersped-Rabotnicki (#3) and MZT Skopje (#2). MZT Skopje was defeated at home 67-71 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of MZT Skopje. MZT Skopje was ahead by 9 points at the halftime before a 42-29 second half run of Fersped-Rabotnicki. MZT Skopje was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for the former international center Pero Blazevski (200-72) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. International guard Dimitar Mirakovski (180-81, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized Serbian forward Nenad Zivcevic (204-87) answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds and center Kiril Nikolovski (210-88, agency: Interperformances) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for MZT Skopje. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. MZT Skopje's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fersped-Rabotnicki (12-3) moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated MZT Skopje. Fersped-Rabotnicki will play against Ovce Pole (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. MZT Skopje will play against Pelister Bitola (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
