The game in Brno supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked BK Decin (14-4) played at the court of 8th ranked Basketbol Brno (6-12). BK Decin smashed Basketbol Brno 89-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. BK Decin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for the former international center Jakub Houska (206-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Bosnian forward Admir Alic (198-84) helped adding 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four BK Decin players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Stepan Reinberger (201-81) responded with 13 points and 4 assists and power forward Michal Norwa (201-83) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for BK Decin. They maintain second place with 14-4 record behind leader BK Prostejov. Loser Basketbol Brno keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. BK Decin will meet at home bottom-ranked Basketbal Svitavy (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Basketbol Brno will play against Lokomotiva Plzen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
