Regular Season Round 63: Austin T. - Z*Utah F. 82-103

Date: January 30, 2011
The Austin Toros' overtime victory on Saturday may have sapped all their energy for Sunday's contest. Austin appeared a step slow all night, falling to the Utah Flash, 103-82 . Austin coach Brad Jones is now 1-4 against his former team this season. "We didn't go out and execute our game plan at all," Jones said. "We had some things put in before the game because we've had tough times on back-to-back (games) this year. I'm just disappointed that we don't have more to us." Brandon Costner was the focus of Jones' game plan. The Toros wanted to limit his touches and trap him in the post, but Costner tied a season-high with 23 points, to go with 10 rebounds. Utah's Pape Sy had 22 points. Austin played its fourth game in five days and rounded out the homestand with a 2-2 record. The Toros are 1-6 when playing games on consecutive days. *Courtesy of www.statesman.com
