Very important is a road loss of third ranked Texas Legends (14-14) against fourth ranked New Mexico Thunderbirds (14-15) on Tuesday night. Visiting Texas Legends were defeated by New Mexico Thunderbirds in a tough game in Rio Rancho 123-130. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Texas Legends. Texas Legends were ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 67-59 second half run of New Mexico Thunderbirds. They made 32-of-41 charity shots (78.0 percent) during the game. New Mexico Thunderbirds outrebounded Texas Legends 43-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Texas Legends were plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Dar Tucker (193-88, college: De Paul) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 8 rebounds. Tunisian-Ivorian guard Abdulai Jalloh contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Joe Alexander answered with 27 points and 7 rebounds and guard Dominique Johnson added 31 points (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) in the effort for Texas Legends. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
