Very predictable result when fourth ranked Lithuanian Nevezis (11-5) rolled over bottom-ranked Latvian Valmiera (1-18) in Kedainiai 89-59 on Thursday. The game without a history. Nevezis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Nevezis outrebounded Valmiera 38-24 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Valmiera's players. It was a good game for forward Laurynas Mikalauskas (205-85, college: Virginia, agency: FCM) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Swingman Laimonas Lukosevicius (197-86) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners.
