The game in Kolin was also worth to mention about. Third ranked BK Pardubice (14-4) played at the court of 7th ranked BC Kolin (8-10). BK Pardubice did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 85-66. It looked good early as BC Kolin took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then BK Pardubice had a 20-14 second period charge getting the lead and BC Kolin was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 66-85. BK Pardubice dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to BC Kolin's 30. They outrebounded BC Kolin 40-26 including 22 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Derek Wright (175-86, college: Austin Peay St.) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and international center Zbynek Pospisil (205-81) who added 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Forward Richard Field (196-85, college: Mercyhurst) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds and forward Jiri Jelinek (203-87) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BK Pardubice maintains third position with 14-4 record behind leader BK Prostejov. BC Kolin at the other side keeps the seventh place with ten games lost. BK Pardubice will play against NH Ostrava (#5) at home in the next round. BC Kolin will play against the league's leader BK Prostejov and hopes to get back on the winning track.
