Not a big story in a game in Istanbul where 11th ranked FMV Isikspor (3-13) was edged by ninth ranked Darussafaka (7-9) 58-55 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Omer Kaan Gogus (-89) who helped to win the game recording 9 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Brandon Gordon (201-85, college: Alabama St., agency: EM-PA) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Serkan Ozver (206-90, agency: 1x1 Sports) responded with 10 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and forward Alpaslan Uruk (-88) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Darussafaka moved-up to eighth place in Group A, which they share with Istanbul B.B. FMV Isikspor lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Darussafaka will face Izmir B.B. (#12) at home in the next round. FMV Isikspor will play against Adanaspor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
