D1 top team - Elitzur Ramla (17-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (11-7) 103-67. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion. It looked good early as Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion took an 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Elitzur Ramla took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 36 points. They also forced 24 Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion turnovers. Elitzur Ramla players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion's players. American players dominated also this game. Center Kia Vaughn (193-87, college: Rutgers) scored 27 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Le'Coe Willingham (183-81, college: Auburn) chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Elitzur Ramla players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Khadijah Whittington (186-86, college: N.Carolina St.) with 22 points and 9 rebounds and forward Alysha Clark (178-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Elitzur Ramla have an impressive 16-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 17-1 record. Newly promoted Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
