Torus Skopje (#4) was upset in Kumanovo by seventh ranked Kumanovo 2009 83-78. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 28-22. But Torus Skopje won second period 27-25. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Serbian forward Dejan Mikic (201-86) nailed 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Serbian center Darko Matic (-84, agency: 011 Sports) accounted for 20 points and 5 rebounds. The former international power forward Bojan Trajkovski (206-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) came up with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian power forward Nemanja Jelesijevic (209-79, agency: World Sport Agency) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Torus Skopje in the defeat. Five Kumanovo 2009 and four Torus Skopje players scored in double figures. Kumanovo 2009 (6-10) moved-up to sixth place. Torus Skopje at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Kumanovo 2009 will play against Lirija (#7) on the road in the next round. Torus Skopje's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje MZT Skopje.
