The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Beijing Ducks' (12-9) road loss to fourth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (12-9) 101-107. Jiangsu Dragons forced 24 Beijing Ducks turnovers. American swingman Antoine Wright (201-84, college: Texas A&M) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. French power forward Jerome Moiso (208-78, college: UCLA) contributed with 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 18 rebounds and Jordanian forward Zaid Abbaas (203-83) added 26 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Beijing Ducks. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Jiangsu Dragons maintains fourth place with 12-9 record, which they share with Beijing. Jiangsu Dragons' next round opponent will be league's leader Xinjiang Flying Tige in Urumqi and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Beijing Ducks will play on the road against Bayi Fubang in Ningbo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
