Regular Season Round 17: Hapoel J-M - Hapoel Holon 80-86

Very important is a home loss of second ranked Hapoel J-M (10-7) against seventh ranked Hapoel Holon (8-9) on Sunday night. Host Hapoel J-M was defeated by Hapoel Holon in a tough game in Jerusalem 80-86. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-11. But Hapoel J-M won third quarter 23-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hapoel Holon have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Maccabi Ashdod. Hapoel J-M at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. They share it with Bnei Hasharon. Hapoel Holon will play against higher ranked Maccabi Rishon (#4) in Rishon Le-Zion in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hapoel J-M will play on the road against Elitzur Netanya and hopes to get back on the winning track.
