Rather expected game when 12th ranked Delikatesas (10-22) was crushed on the road by tenth ranked Silute (13-19) 95-56 on Friday. The game without a history. Silute led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Delikatesas to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Silute made 26-of-32 free shots (81.3 percent) during the game, while Delikatesas only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded Delikatesas 54-25 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Delikatesas was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for swingman Vytautas Nedzinskas (196-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Justas Cesnavicius (211-79) helped adding 22 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) responded with 16 points and center Julius Jucikas (205-89) scored 15 points. Silute moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Triobet Malsta and Erelita. Delikatesas lost their third game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 22 games lost. Silute will face Akademija (#14) in Vilnius in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Delikatesas will play at home against Erelita-KTU in Kaunas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
