We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when ninth ranked Bayer Giants (9-12) won against on the road 8th ranked ALBA Berlin II (9-12) 77-72 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 21-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. ALBA Berlin II was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American guard Josh Young (185-88, college: Drake) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The victory was the third consecutive win for Bayer Giants. They moved-up to seventh place in Group North, which they share with SU Medien and ALBA Berlin II. Bayer Giants will face league's second-placed SC Rasta Vechta at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
