Thirteenth-ranked ABRO-Universitetas (10-23) made lots of trouble for eleventh ranked Triobet Malsta (14-19) in Jonava. Triobet Malsta managed to secure only two-point victory 63-61. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ABRO-Universitetas. ABRO-Universitetas was ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 22-14 charge of Triobet Malsta, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 24 ABRO-Universitetas turnovers. The winners were led by forward Henrikas Vorotnikovas (202-90) who scored that evening 19 points and guard Audrius Vasiliauskas (185-82) supported him with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Triobet Malsta players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by guard Aivaras Kvedaravicius (184-88) did not help to save the game for ABRO-Universitetas. Belarusian swingman Vitali Liutych (198-92) added 17 points. Triobet Malsta moved-up to ninth place. ABRO-Universitetas at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with 23 games lost. Triobet Malsta's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Puntukas (#15) in Anyksciai where they are favorite. ABRO-Universitetas will play at home against Delikatesas in Joniskis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
