NBL top team - BK Prostejov (17-3) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked NH Ostrava (13-7) 77-73. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of NH Ostrava. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 17-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Lithuanian guard Benas Veikalas (192-83, college: Metro St.) notched 20 points to lead the effort and Canadian forward Kyle Landry (206-86, college: N.Arizona) supported him with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four BK Prostejov players scored in double figures. BK Prostejov's coach Peter Balinth used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds by Polish center Cezary Trybanski (218-79) did not help to save the game for NH Ostrava. Canadian forward Andrew Spagrud (203-85) added 14 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for lost side.
