An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Inowroclaw. First ranked AZS Politechnika Warszawska faced second-best ISS Sportino. Guests from Warszawa (20-4) defeated host ISS Sportino (17-6) 65-60. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of ISS Sportino. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 32-24 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. AZS Politechnika Warszawska made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was forward Leszek Karwowski (209-75) who scored 14 points. Guard Mateusz Ponitka (196-93) chipped in 10 points. At the other side the best for losing team was center Aleksander Lichodzijewski (202-84) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and power forward Wojciech Zurawski (199-76) added 14 points and 11 rebounds respectively. AZS Politechnika Warszawska have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-4 record. ISS Sportino at the other side dropped to the third place with six games lost. AZS Politechnika Warszawska are looking forward to face Astoria (#14) in Bydgoszcz in the next round which should be an easy win for them. ISS Sportino will play at home against Sokol Lancut (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
