The game in Kaunas was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Radviliskis (25-10) played at the court of 6th ranked LKKA-Atletas (19-16). Radviliskis managed to secure a 5-point victory 81-76. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Radviliskis dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to LKKA-Atletas' 28. Guard Zilvinas Kuklierius (180-85) stepped up and scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and forward Audrius Mineikis (202-77) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side guard Sarunas Vingelis (192-89) responded with 27 points and 7 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and forward Vidmantas Sragauskis (200-86) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Radviliskis maintains second place with 25-10 record having nine points less than leader Pieno Zvaigzdes. LKKA-Atletas at the other side keeps the sixth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Nafta Universitetas. Radviliskis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. LKKA-Atletas will play again on the road against the league's second-placed Radviliskis (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
