No shocking result in a game when third ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (20-8) crushed at home 5th ranked Uppsala Basket (14-15) 111-88 on Friday. The game without a history. Norrkoping Dolphins led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Norrkoping Dolphins looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for international power forward Joakim Kjellbom (213-79, college: N.Arizona) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). International guard Anton Saks (200-89) accounted for 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. American swingman Tim Whitworth (198-81, college: Drexel, agency: Limelight Hoops) came up with 24 points and the other American import guard Benjamin Smith (178-87, college: Jacksonville) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Uppsala Basket in the defeat. Four Uppsala Basket players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Norrkoping Dolphins have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains third place with 20-8 record having eight points less than leader Sundsvall. Uppsala Basket lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 15 games lost. Norrkoping Dolphins will meet league's leader Sundsvall Dragons on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
