The game between Top Four teams took place in Dublin. First ranked host Dart Killester (15-3) smashed second-best UCC Demons (11-6). It was a good game for naturalized American forward Jermaine Turner (195-74, college: Dowling) who led his team to a victory with 28 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. The former international guard Issac Westbrooks (190-85) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Five Dart Killester players scored in double figures. American power forward Marcus Van (201-85, college: Cent.Michigan) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds and forward Shane Duggan (-88) added 18 points in the effort for UCC Demons. UCC Demons' coach Paul Kelleher gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Dart Killester have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 15-3 record. UCC Demons at the other side keep the second place with six games lost. Dart Killester's next round opponent will be UCD Marian (#4) in Dublin. UCC Demons will play at home against the league's leader UL Eagles in Limerick and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
