The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Novy Jicin (0-1) at the home court. Hosts were defeated by BK Pardubice (1-0) 85-74. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Novy Jicin. It was a key game for the top position in A1 as both teams had the same 0-0 record before this meeting. The game was mostly controlled by BK Pardubice. Novy Jicin was better in fourth quarter 22-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Five BK Pardubice and four Novy Jicin players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. BK Pardubice keeps a position of A1 leader, which they share with BK Prostejov. Novy Jicin at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with NH Ostrava. BK Pardubice will play against NH Ostrava (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Novy Jicin will play against BK Decin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
