The game in Ningbo supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Guandong Tigers (20-7) played at the court of 5th ranked Bayi Fubang (15-13). Guandong Tigers smashed Bayi Fubang 116-95. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bayi Fubang. The game without a history. Guandong Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Fubang's 50. Guandong Tigers players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Marcus Haislip (207-80, college: Tennessee) who scored 27 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Lester Hudson (191-84, college: Tennessee-Martin) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international center ZhiZhi Wang (214-79) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds and the former international center Ke Mo (210-82) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Guandong Tigers and four Bayi Fubang players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Guandong Tigers. They maintain third place with 20-7 record having six points less than leader Xinjiang. Bayi Fubang at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. Guandong Tigers' next round opponent will be Shanghai Sharks (#11) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Bayi Fubang will play against Jiangsu Dragons in Nanjing.
