The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 42-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Balkan 2 dominated on the defensive end, holding Rilski 2 to just 2 points in third quarter. They made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Balkan 2 forced 22 Rilski 2 turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Georgi Boyanov (195-93) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and forward Ivaylo Vuchkov (200-90) who added 18 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Balkan 2 moved-up to fourth place. Rilski 2 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with NSA. Balkan 2 will meet Vidabasket (#5) on the road in the next round. Rilski 2 will play against Cherno More U18 in Varna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
