Regular Season Round 37: Fukuoka Rizing - Takamatsu FA 105-77

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Fukuoka Rizing (21-15) crushed at home 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (9-27) 105-77 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Fukuoka Rizing. Takamatsu FA was better in fourth quarter 37-31. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fukuoka Rizing forced 22 Takamatsu FA turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Fukuoka Rizing especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. Americans were the main players on the court. Quite impressive performance for swingman Michael Parker (200-81, college: Evergreen St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Nile Murry (193-83, college: TCU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Center Terrance Farley (208-85, college: Louisville) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and guard Rasheed Sparks (190-77, college: Morgan St.) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Takamatsu FA. Four Fukuoka Rizing and five Takamatsu FA players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Fukuoka Rizing. They maintain third place with 21-15 record having nine points less than leader Osaka Evessa. Takamatsu FA lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 27 games lost. Fukuoka Rizing will have a break next round. Takamatsu FA will play at home against Oita Heat Devils (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
