Sixth-ranked Toyama Grouses (11-23) used its home court advantage to challenge fourth ranked Shiga Lakestars (20-16). The visitors from Shiga managed to secure only two-point victory 74-72. However their fans expected easier game. Shiga Lakestars made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Shiga Lakestars outrebounded Toyama Grouses 43-31 including 18 on the offensive glass. American players dominated also this game.
