Regular Season Round 29: Guangsha L. - Liaoning H. 116-110

No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (15-12) beat 11th ranked Liaoning Hunters (12-16) in Hangzhou 116-110. Liaoning Hunters were ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 29-20 third quarter run of Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. They made 24-of-29 charity shots (82.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Liaoning Hunters turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Liaoning Hunters helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Taiwanese swingman Chih-Chieh Lin (192-82) who scored 43 points (!!!) and 5 steals. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Beijing and Zhejiang C. Liaoning Hunters lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions' next round opponent will be Jilin Tigers (#13) in Changchun and are hoping to win another game.
