Fenerbahce led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Burhaniye Bld's 42. They outrebounded Burhaniye Bld 39-20 including a 31-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fenerbahce players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Five Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Fenerbahce's coach Laszlo Ratgeber felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 26 points by American guard La Tanya White (170-82, college: Mississippi St.) did not help to save the game for Burhaniye Bld. Her fellow American import forward LaToya Thomas (188-81, college: Mississippi St.) added 12 points for the guests. Fenerbahce have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Galatasaray. Newly promoted Burhaniye Bld keeps the eleventh place with 16 games lost. Fenerbahce's next round opponent will be Besiktas (#6) in Istanbul where they are favorite. Burhaniye Bld will play at home against Tarsus Bld (#3) in Mersin.
