Finals Game 6: Pioneros - Toros 82-93

Toros are the new LNBP champions. They managed to beat Pioneros in Game Six and to win the Final Series with 4-2. It was a road game and Toros celebrated 82-93 victory. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 93-82. Toros made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Toros outrebounded Pioneros 38-22 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Adrian Henning who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. American-Nigerian forward Ikechukwu Ofoegbu chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Toros players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Gregory Grays who recorded 30 points and his fellow American import center Rammel Allen added 18 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Toros finished regular season as No.5 with 25-11 record. They eliminated Huracances in the 1/8 Finals and after that Fuerza Reggia in the QFinals. In the Semis, Toros blasted Halcones Xalapa with almost perfect 4-1.
