BEAC-Ujbuda (#13) forced the game against BSE (#10) into an overtime, but lost by five points 66-71. The game took place in Budapest. But the guests were better at the end. BEAC-Ujbuda was ahead by 13 points after three quarters before a 19-6 charge of BSE, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 10-5. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BEAC-Ujbuda to just 6 points in fourth quarter. BSE forced 28 BEAC-Ujbuda turnovers. Strangely BEAC-Ujbuda outrebounded BSE 45-23 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Klara Tiba (193-81) who helped to win the game recording 29 points. Forward Monika Hegedus (178-82) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four BSE players scored in double figures. Forward Szilvia Horvath (179-86) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Melinda Bagi (190-86) added 8 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for BEAC-Ujbuda. BEAC-Ujbuda's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BSE maintains tenth place with 5-18 record. BEAC-Ujbuda lost their seventeenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 22 lost games. BSE's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Budapest Vasas-Csata.
