Second Stage Round 4: IMOS Brno - Slovanka MB 96-50

The game between Top Four teams took place in Brno. First ranked host Frisco Sika (19-1) smashed 3rd ranked Basket Slovanka MB (12-8). The game was mostly controlled by Frisco Sika. Basket Slovanka MB managed to win fourth quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Frisco Sika dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Basket Slovanka MB's 30. They outrebounded Basket Slovanka MB 46-26 including a 32-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Swedish center Louice Halvarsson (189-89, agency: Josep and Nicolas) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Swedish guard Frida Eldebrink (174-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 24 points and 5 assists. Four Frisco Sika players scored in double figures. Center Eva Sipova (188-86) produced 11 points and 6 rebounds and center Lenka Sipova (185-88) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Basket Slovanka MB's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Frisco Sika have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position in A1 with 19-1 record, which they share with USK Praha. Loser Basket Slovanka MB keeps the third place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
