The game was mostly controlled by Aanekosken Huima. Lapuan Korikobrat managed to win third quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Lapuan Korikobrat 46-28 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Aanekosken Huima looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Lapuan Korikobrat's players. American forward Lamar Roberson (203-86, college: La-Lafayette) scored 31 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Bahamas forward Jamal Douglas (201-85, college: E.Kentucky) chipped in 18 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. American forward Derick Nelson (196-86, college: Oakland, agency: ACMT) responded with 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Tyrwone Still (198-77, college: W.Virginia St.) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Five Aanekosken Huima and four Lapuan Korikobrat players scored in double figures.
