Regular Season Round 133: N.Orleans H. - Sacramento K. 115-103
Date: March 12, 2011
Chris Paul dealt with a brief bout of anxiety as he prepared to return from a mild concussion that had sidelined him for two games. It had nothing to do with his health, though. ``Before the game, I was a little bit nervous, just because I feel like we've been playing well and I didn't want to come out and mess anything up,' Paul said. Really? The All-Star guard scored a season-high 33 points to go with 15 assists, seven rebounds and five steals, and the New Orleans Hornets beat the Sacramento Kings 115-103 on Saturday night. ``I'm never surprised by those kinds of numbers,' Hornets coach Monty Williams said. ``That's what he's capable of doing. Scoring 33 points is probably a little high for him, but he's capable of that. When he's able to push the ball in transition and knock down his jumper, he can do that more often than people think.' David West had 25 points and former Kings forward Carl Landry added 20 for New Orleans, which has won four of five games and passed Portland for sixth place in the Western Conference. *Courtesy of www.comcast.net
