The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. ALBA Berlin II dominated on the defensive end, holding BV Villingen-Schwenningen to just 7 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to BV Villingen-Schwenningen's 32. Power forward Andreas Seiferth (206-89, college: ALBA Berlin II) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Lucca Staiger (196-88, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 22 points and 5 assists during the contest.
