The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-66. Lapuan Korikobrat dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Forssan Koripojat's 28. 26 personal fouls committed by Forssan Koripojat helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Derick Nelson (196-86, college: Oakland, agency: ACMT) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Benny Valentine (170-87, college: E.Washington) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds.
