Quarter-Finals Round 1: Wisla Can-Pak - Tecza Leszno 75-44

The game without a history. Wisla Can-Pak led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Super-Pol's 26. They outrebounded Super-Pol 49-28 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Wisla Can-Pak players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Super-Pol's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Belarusian center Yelena Leuchanka (196-83, college: W.Virginia) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. International center Magdalena Leciejewska (191-86) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Wisla Can-Pak's coach Jose Ignacio Hernandez felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Dominika Urbaniak (187-87) answered with 8 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Joy Cheek (185-88, college: Duke) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Super-Pol.
