Wisla cruised past Super-Pol en route to the semis. The game was mostly controlled by Wisla Can-Pak. Super-Pol was better in second period 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Super-Pol 41-22 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Australian guard Erin Phillips (173-85) notched 22 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and Belarusian center Yelena Leuchanka (196-83, college: W.Virginia) supported her with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Wisla Can-Pak players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by American forward Joy Cheek (185-88, college: Duke) did not help to save the game for Super-Pol. Guard Elzbieta Mukosiej (178-83, college: Jefferson CC) added 20 points for the hosts.
