The game without a history. Declercq Stortbeton led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Jana Raman (182-91) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds. The former international power forward Irina Medvedeva (190-76) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Declercq Stortbeton's coach Daniel Goethals used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Annelies Blommaers (176-83) answered with 20 points and international swingman Nina Crelot (170-87) added 10 points in the effort for Houthalen.
