Regular Season Round 27: Bordeaux - CFBB 102-90

NM1 top team - Bordeaux (23-4) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighteenth ranked CFBB (4-23) 102-90. The game was mostly controlled by Bordeaux. CFBB was better in second period 22-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by CFBB's players. It was a great evening for guard Gauthier Darrigand (184-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 assists and 5 steals (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). American center John Ford (207-78, college: Colorado St.) helped adding 28 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Ulysse Adjagba (184-93) with 18 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Hugo Invernizzi (196-93) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. CFBB's coach Jacques Commeres rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bordeaux maintains first place with 23-4 record. CFBB at the other side stay dead last with 23 lost games. Bordeaux will play against Saint Chamond (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play against Saint-Quentin (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
