Quarter-Finals Round 2: Njardvik - KR 80-96

KR became the first Express League semifinalists. They upset Njardvik on the road to complete the sweep of the series. The game without a history. KR led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 28-of-30 charity shots (93.3 percent) during the game, while Njardvik only scored eleven points from the stripe. 26 personal fouls committed by Njardvik helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international swingman Pavel Ermolinskij (202-87) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). American guard Marcus Walker (186-86, college: Colorado St., agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Four KR players scored in double figures. American guard Giordan Watson (178-85, college: Cent.Michigan) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and the former international guard Johann Alafsson (195-86) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for Njardvik. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
