Semi-Finals Game 1: Ulriken Elite - Tromso 73-96

It looked good early as Ulriken took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Tromso had a 31-11 second period charge getting the lead and Ulriken was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 73-96. Tromso forced 19 Ulriken turnovers. American swingman Ronald Timus (197-84, college: Morgan St.) nailed 28 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Gerald January (201-88, college: Montevallo) accounted for 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Audun Eskeland (175-85) came up with 29 points and 6 assists and swingman Magne Fivelstad (196-89) added 10 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Ulriken in the defeat. Five Tromso and four Ulriken players scored in double figures. Ulriken's coach Geir Bangstad gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
