Stjarnan made it 1-1 in the series following an impressive home success. The game without a history. Stjarnan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Stjarnan forced 24 Grindavik turnovers. Grindavik was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Estonian forward Renato Lindmets (198-84, college: Westfield St., agency: Tank Sports) notched 29 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Justin Shouse (180-81, college: Mercyhurst) supported him with 23 points and 7 assists. Even 27 points by the former international swingman Pall Axel Vilbergsson (197-78) did not help to save the game for Grindavik.
