Undefeated leader Dunav 2007 delivered the seventeenth consecutive win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked NSA (9-8) 115-85 in Sofia. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of NSA. The game without a history. Dunav 2007 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. Dunav 2007 outrebounded NSA 43-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by NSA's players. Forward Hristo Gospodinov (202-92) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winners. Power forward Vladimir Nikolov (205-88, college: Garrett JC) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Dunav 2007's coach Nikolay Gospodinov felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Tsvetelin Mladenov (190-90) produced 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Danail Hristov (195-90) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Dunav 2007 (17-0) have an impressive series of sixteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 17 victories in a row. NSA at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Dunav 2007 are looking forward to face league's second-placed Academik Plovdiv at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. NSA will play against Balkan 2 in Botevgrad and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
