Semi-Finals Game 3: FoKoPo - Lapua 75-82

Forssan Koripojat was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 23-14 charge of Lapuan Korikobrat, which allowed them to win the game. Lapuan Korikobrat forced 20 Forssan Koripojat turnovers. Strangely Forssan Koripojat outrebounded Lapuan Korikobrat 43-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Lapuan Korikobrat shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. 27 personal fouls committed by Forssan Koripojat helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American guard Benny Valentine (170-87, college: E.Washington) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points. His fellow American import forward Tyrwone Still (198-77, college: W.Virginia St.) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Lapuan Korikobrat players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Canadian center Jeremy McCulloch (212-82, college: E.Washington) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and guard Kwamena Brace (197-87) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Forssan Koripojat's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
