IR leveled things up in the series against Keflavik. They knocked down their opponents at home court. Keflavik trailed 49-46 at halftime, rallying from a 31-13 deficit at the end of first quarter to trim the gap. IR looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Kelly Biedler (196-88, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. Serbian-Canadian forward Nemanja Sovic (198-77, college: Pfeiffer) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Five IR players scored in double figures. The former international center Gunnar Thorsteinsson (204-88) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and the former international guard Magnus Gunnarsson (186-81) added 19 points respectively for the guests.
