Regular Season Round 107: Tulsa 66ers - Austin T. 97-94

Guard Elijah Millsap of the Tulsa 66ers (31-15) poured in a team-high 21 points and Ryan Reid added 10 points and 11 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season to lead the 66ers past the Austin Toros (19-25) by a 97-94 final inside the Tulsa Convention Center Tuesday night. Collectively, Tulsa recorded 28 assists led by seven each from guards Robert Vaden and Garrett Williamson. Also scoring in double-figures for Tulsa was Jerome Dyson with 16, Latavious Williams with 14 and Larry Owens and Marcus Lewis each with 11. It marked the 17th time this season six Tulsa players have scored in double figures. Additionally, center Byron Mullens added four points, three rebounds and a blocked shot. With the win, Tulsa re-claimed first place in the Western Conference. "Austin is a really good team right now because that was the best we've played in probably two or three weeks," 66ers head coach Nate Tibbetts said. "I am really proud of our guys. One thing we've been really talking about is taking care of the basketball. We only had 12 turnovers. Also, we had 28 assists which is huge for us." Defensively, Tulsa held the Toros to 30-75 (.400) shooting from the floor and forced 17 turnovers, including 11 steals. Leading Austin was Marcus Cousin with a game-high 22 points and 10 rebounds.
