Semi-Finals Game 2: KR - Keflavik 75-64

Both Semifinals series in Express League are tied. KR outplayed Keflavik last night 75-64 tying the scored to 1-1. Keflavik was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 38-26 second half run of KR. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Keflavik's 30. They outrebounded Keflavik 42-31 including 28 on the defensive glass. Melissa Ann Jeltema orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international center Signy Hermannsdottir contributed with 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four KR players scored in double figures. The former international forward Bryndis Guamundsdottir replied with 21 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Palina Gunnlaugsdottir added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Keflavik. Third game is scheduled for Friday and Keflavik will be the host. As a reminder, the format is best-of-five.
