The game without a history. Xinjiang Flying Tige led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Beijing Ducks' 34. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Quincy Douby (191-84, college: Rutgers) who helped to win the game recording 38 points (!!!), 5 assists and 6 steals. His fellow American import forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) contributed with 26 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Xinjiang Flying Tige's coach XingQuan Jiang felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Jordanian forward Zaid Abbaas (203-83) added 20 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Beijing Ducks. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
