1/8 Finals Round 2: Silute - Zalgiris-Sabonio 69-82

Zalgiris-Sabonio earned the spot in the NKL quarterfinals. They cruised past Silute on the road to comlete the sweep. It looked good early as Silute took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Zalgiris-Sabonio had a 20-12 second period charge getting the lead and Silute was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-82. Zalgiris-Sabonio dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Silute's 20 and made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Silute 45-32 including 30 on the defensive glass. Forward Edgaras Ulanovas (198-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points and 6 rebounds. Center Mindaugas Kupsas (215-91) contributed with 6 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Andrius Cizikas (197-88) replied with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and guard Evaldas Jurkus (190-84) added 17 points in the effort for Silute.
