An interesting game for Trefl Sopot (14-8) which hosted in Sopot their biggest opponent PGE Turow (15-7). Third ranked Trefl Sopot managed to get a 6-point victory 80-74. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 25-18. But PGE Turow won second period 17-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 30 personal fouls committed by PGE Turow helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Dragan Ceranic (212-76, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Torey Thomas (180-85, college: Holy Cross, agency: Interperformances) replied with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized German forward Konrad Wysocki (201-82, college: Princeton, agency: Pro One Sports) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for PGE Turow. PGE Turow's coach Jacek Winnicki rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Trefl Sopot have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 14-8 record having just three points less than leader Asseco Prokom, which they share with Energa Czarni. PGE Turow at the other side keeps the second place with seven games lost.
