Xinjiang Flying Tige dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Beijing Ducks' 40. It was a quality performance for American guard Quincy Douby (191-84, college: Rutgers) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 assists and 5 steals. The former international center Bateer Mengke (210-75) accounted for 12 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. American power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Lei Chen (195-83) added 26 points respectively for Beijing Ducks in the defeat. Five Xinjiang Flying Tige and four Beijing Ducks players scored in double figures.
